The
Cottages
The front part of the farmhouse, was burnt down in 1863 and water was taken directly from the estate lakes across the road to quell the fire. It was rebuilt in 1901 and is now home to the Turner family. Known also as Longbarn, it was once ancestral home of Sir Francis Chichester.
The guest accommodation was originally the dairy and wood store and is situated at side and rear of the stone manor farmhouse. It has been sympathetically converted into comfortable apartments giving a homely cottage feel with many of the original features being retained adding character, offering quality with good value.
Ample car park adjacent to manor with loading/unloading space and designated disabled space with communal garden beyond with barbecue / garden furniture.
The non-smoking accommodation is fully carpeted, double glazed and centrally heated. We have our own private spring well water supply. There is a communal payphone and laundry room on-site.
Open all year. Short breaks possible.
